Our Vestigo Experience with Home Depot

One member of Home Depot’s IT Department inspired us so much that we had to make something a little more epic than usual. Spencer Wycoff, in his free time from Home Depot, would carry his sister, who can’t walk on her own, through Spartan Races to raise awareness for her condition, Muscular Dystrophy. To take their initiative to the next level, Vestigo helped Carden Wycoff become the first person with Muscular Dystrophy to complete the entire Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail, aided by Spencer’s team from Home Depot who helped carry supplies and Carden herself on this 79 mile journey across some of Georgia’s most challenging sections of trail. Different team members would rotate through different day hikes to aid a small core team that powered through the whole 9 day trip.
